Vintage radio turned into a guitar amplifier
We found this vintage beauty last weekend at the antique fair. It's a Philips radio from 1957. Panu has been looking for a right kind of radio for a while now, because he wanted to use it as an amplifier for his electric guitar. And here it is! Panu only needed to modify the instrument cable going from the guitar to the radio. It works perfetto.
If you are interested to know more, you can email me for details. Don't try this with any radio though, because you might get an electric shock!

Oh, I love these kind of vintage radios. Greets from Germany!
Me too. We already had two of them before, but they weren't right for the job :)
Have a lovely weekend!
Meidän hyvä ystävä rakentelee ja korjaa vahvistimia ym. ja korjasi meidänkin vanhusradion kuntoon. Koristeena on myös tältä kaverilta muutamat pelkät radion kuoret, kun osat on käytetty muualla.
Perfect indeed!! ♥
This is sooo cool! Panu must be a genius. What a great addition to your home!
Aivan mainio idea! Ja niin olivat nuo viime postauksen Hay:n peitteetkin. Katselin niitä sillä silmällä, kun ne tulivat mainitsemaasi nettiputiikkiin myyntiin. Virkistit muistiani mieluisasti aiheesta uuden-päiväpeiton-hankinta!
Georgianna, he is! :) He always has a solution for everything.
Ihana blogi sinulla!
Pakko kysyä, että minkä rotuinen Mansikki on? Aivan ihana <3
Mansikki on sekarotuinen, puoleksi suomenlapinkoira ja puoleksi sao miguelinfila.
It looks really good!
